Service and Support Administrators (SSAs) offer assistance to individuals with developmental disabilities and their families in planning comprehensive services and handling paperwork that is required to secure services.  They work with individuals to determine eligibility for various services, assess needs, and develop Individual Service Plans and budgets to fund the Plans, and meet the individuals’ needs.  SSA also support the individual in choosing, coordinating and monitoring providers of services and assuring that the individuals with developmental disabilities are receiving the services that they have requested. SSAs ensure that individuals receiving MCBDD services have someone to act on their behalf as a day-to-day representative.
